A Woman’s Place

A piece by Nadia J. Armstrong

This piece is a poem of sorts about advertising. It serves as a reminder of the oppressive ideals that saturate Western culture. It speaks about the consumption of sexuality and stereotypes and attempts to reframe the consumer’s relationship with the language of advertising by removing the persuasive imagery, allowing us to read the words as they were written.
