RENDER ME TENDER (14mins 55secs duration) is an audiovisual experience that invites the public to consider the neo-primacy of the chat forum in our modern-day conception of communication, asking if there is a way to unbury the liveness and physical immediacy of the socio- political, oratory origins of the word “forum.”

Digital beings and imagined mirages appear on four portrait screens that stand like a Greek Chorus, engaging spectators in rhetoric around the mutations of social interaction that the socio-technical history of the forum presents to us.

EDIFICE UNBOUND (14mins 19secs duration) is a three channel video installation experience that explores the tangible realities of how infrastructures of late capitalism produce social conditions that are driven by economic forces of commodification and circulation. The piece amalgamates documentary footage filmed with on an iPhone with AI generated imagery of imagined infrastructural landscapes to examine the trajectory of shifts in governance that are influenced by commercial and corporate intentions.

Digital Native (12mins 38secs duration) is an award winning performance piece which reflects upon the experience of the individual who sits in front of the screen. It questions the ways in which our devices speak back to us about ourselves and the interference that runs between these cyber relations.

The piece incorporates 3D avatars, spoken word, image compositing and green screen techniques.

Minor Spectacle (4mins duration) is a video composition that uses 3D avatars to depict imagined archetypes of the internet. The avatars’ mutating personas question both our existence and their own. Channeling the language of social media platforms, comment sections and chat forums, the piece uses 3D modeling and virtual performance to comment on the dialect of persona that is derived from online engagement.

Attached to Nothing, Connected to Everything (11mins and 24secs duration) is a video piece that explores misconceptions surrounding artificial intelligence and robotics. This piece was commissioned for the Goethe-Institut’s 2021 Generation A=Algorithm residency project.

Timekeepers (13mins and 54secs duration) is a video installation piece that identifies coalescing nodes of cultural chaos that have arisen from consumer culture and the postman condition. It presents copyright free stock footage, play throughs from first person video games and music from pop culture as episodic assemblages.

Systems of Uncertainty (7mins duration) is a video piece that uses collage, video compositing and post-production editing processes to combine an overwhelming, inciting reel of media that depicts a digital sub-reality run by technocrats and their abiding followers.
