SYSTEMS OF UNCERTAINTY (2019, 15 mins duration) is a video installation that deals with the question of how we use our technology, its accessibility and our understanding of it. The piece raises questions about the current digital conversation and the mainstream media. It points to social-technical conceptions of our future, while documenting some of the misleading and obsessive narratives that are presented to us online today. The installation uses an old tv and couch cushions, referencing the trajectories of obsolete technology and dystopian imagined futures.

The visuals in Systems of Uncertainty rely upon appropriated materials and found footage - through the use of comparisons, references and relationships between the images the viewer’s thoughts are guided in predetermined directions. Systems of Uncertainty takes a snapshot in time of the neoliberal posthuman’s newsfeed, looking at how information moves through capitalist media channels and reaches the public.
